Javier Perez-Pla is a fashion and portrait Lifestyle Photographer. He soon discovered his passion for photography. At the age of 15 he was given his first Nikon camera and at the age of 19 he decided to cross the Atlantic to Study photography and fine art at NYU University & I.C.P School.
After his academic training, he worked for five years in the Big Apple as an assistant to prestigious photographers «I wanted to learn in a direct way the personal vision of different artists and it was where I really realized that photography was processed from the heart». While working as an assistant, he collaborated for different portrait and travel magazines. The beginnings were not easy in such a demanding and competitive Anglo-saxon market but thanks to his talent and insistence he managed to make his way first as a commercial photographer and later developing his personal work.

Tireless traveler, Javier’s work has a beauty and a personal mark and the most important thing is that it lasts over time. His personal an commercial work maintain the same line and language. Commercially he has worked for numerous American and European companies. His clients include; Vogue Spain, Harper’s Bazaar, Vanity fair, El país, Yo Dona, Sachi & Sachi, Nivea, Travel & Leisure, Conde Nast Traveler, Tiempo BBDO, Mirto, Corte Inglés, Dove, Meta Image among others 

His personal work has been exhibited in prestigious galleries such as Sothebys (Spain), Casa de Vacas (Madrid), Fundacion Pons, Gallery C (New York), McCann- Eriksson (Paris), Club Diario De Ibiza, El Taller Eléctrico (Ses Salinas) .

Javier currently works and resides with his wife and children Theo / Uma between Madrid and Ibiza (Europe).
